Advanced Shield® Hydrogel Wound Barrier is a super moisturizing hydrogel intended to donate moisture and create a moist wound healing environment that supports wound healing. Supplied in a sealed 2oz PET tube, Advanced Shield applies as a thick hydrogel formula that donates moisture to the wound area and may aid in autolytic debridement and relieve minor pain and itching associated with wound healing. With natural cellulose for added moisturization, Advanced Shield Hydrogel Wound Barrier is the ideal wound dressing for large area burn wounds, abrasions, rashes, and skin irritations such as psoriasis and eczema, and other wounds that require more moisture.

Advanced Shield’s super moisturizing hydrogel is provided in a thick, viscous gel format that donates moisture to wounds and burns, affording a highly soothing, moisturizing wound barrier. When applied, the thick gel remains on the surface of the wound, and can be covered with secondary dressings, or remain in place and allowed to air dry over the wound, where a thin, highly elastic polymer film barrier will ultimately setup.
